Operate and support Real Time Feed Conversion (RTFCR) processing in a poultry facility. You’ll clean, store, reassemble, test, and maintain feed conversion machinery; assist with daily bird care and inspections; monitor ventilation and lighting; perform biosecurity and housekeeping; troubleshoot and repair equipment when needed; and record production and animal welfare data.

Key Responsibilities

•Clean, store, reassemble, test, and maintain feed conversion processing machinery; operate equipment and make required adjustments; perform preventative maintenance.
•Attend to and care for birds in RTFCR houses, inspect birds for quality/progress, and handle treatment steps per instructions.
•Weigh, place, and remove birds from RTFCR; prepare FCR units each morning for accurate data collection and feed usage; consult FCR engineer and troubleshoot machine or bird issues.
•Monitor and adjust ventilation and light; clean and disinfect waterers and pens; perform routine housekeeping and follow biosecurity procedures.
•Record required data (line, MG, bird weight, medications, feed and water intake, mortality) and perform repairs, vaccination/isolation as needed for disease control.

Key Requirements

•Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer and no additional employment gaps greater than 6 months in the past 36 months.
•If laid off or providing child/elder care, employment gap can be increased to 18 months.

•Rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days.
•Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience are preferred; applicants must reside in the United States for interview consideration.
