Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete daily work assignments, regularly review and update personal tool inventory on a quarterly basis, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems by phone or on site.
  • •Repair and install parts as needed to maintain equipment, following warranty policy and initiating field warranty claim processing.
  • •Understand and adhere to company safety and environmental requirements, promote proper safety procedures, and use required PPE (position is safety sensitive).
  • •Provide warranty support by evaluating and validating claims, discussing issues with product teams, and submitting service reports; communicate service activities through daily reports and relevant forms.
  • •As levels progress, use specialized expertise to develop customer-specific solutions, rebuild components to OEM specifications, perform essential functions across equipment types, and support training/development of other technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment, with prior experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and the ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics.
  • •Own hand tools and maintain/expand a personal tool inventory by purchasing additional tools from the required tool list.
  • •Complete TL1 and TL2 training and Safe Start Modules 1-5 within the first year of employment (or TL1/TL2 within 3-6 months for Level 2; within 1 month for Level 3).
  • •Maintain required U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) training certificates, or agree to complete the training needed to acquire them by required dates.
  • •Maintain a valid driver’s license and be able to meet CDL/DOT requirements when required; travel is required in the position.
