Job Summary

Join Intel’s supply chain team to shape semiconductor manufacturing strategies and improve operational excellence. You’ll drive supplier quality and safety issues, lead problem-solving (including 8D) to close prevention plans, and improve manufacturing availability for limiting toolsets. Partner with factory modules and leadership to strengthen cost structures, manage cost control and yield studies, define KPIs and standards, and mentor less experienced supply chain engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage supplier quality issues related to safety, quality, and site MQI closure performance, including leading 8D work to close prevention plans.
•Drive manufacturing availability performance across limiting toolsets by defining problems, building roadmaps, and escalating with suppliers to resolve limiting module issues.
•Improve factory manufacturing availability and coordinate with the factory on supplier labor issues for F9 in New Mexico.
•Improve cost structures and performance to outcome-based contracts, identifying cost savings opportunities across local factory functional areas.
•Conduct cost control, process optimization, and production yield studies; define control standards and KPIs, and lead supplier quality improvement initiatives including failure mode analysis.

Salary: USD 140,830 - 198,820 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field with 4+ years of experience, or a PhD with 2+ years of experience.
•Experience that includes semiconductor factory operations, supply chain engineering, or supplier management.
•Root cause analysis and model based problem solving (MBPS), KPI development, and performance tracking for supply chain operations.
•Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and advanced packaging technologies (preferred).
•Demonstrated ability to drive supplier accountability, develop quality standards, and implement process improvements (traits).
