Job Summary

Provide Level 3 managed cloud services by proactively monitoring client environments, identifying and resolving incidents and complex problems, and ensuring zero missed SLA conditions. Manage and investigate high-complexity tickets, perform RCA, escalate to vendors when needed, and support onsite client troubleshooting. Improve operations through incident reviews, automation opportunities, and quality assurance, and contribute to project work including disaster recovery implementation and testing.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure assigned client infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational through proactive incident and problem identification and resolution.
•Monitor environments using monitoring tools, respond to alerts, investigate Level 3 support tickets, and determine root cause for complex issues.
•Manage incidents/problems with accurate logging, RCA preparation, SLA/RCA submission, and escalation to third-party vendors when required.
•Perform onsite technical support and provide field engineering services to clients.
•Drive operational improvements through incident reviews, automation opportunities, and support disaster recovery implementation and testing.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology/Computing, plus relevant certifications for the services provided.
•Seasoned experience in engineering and managed services within a medium to large ICT organization.
•Excellent working knowledge of ITIL processes and experience managing high-complexity incident and problem resolution.
•Extensive VMware experience (including ESXi and VMware vROps/ Tanzu/Cloud Director) and ability to troubleshoot storage, network, and performance issues.
•Experience with enterprise data center platform management (Windows Server/Linux, virtualization, and backup/storage technologies) and producing technical documentation and RCA.
