Key Responsibilities

  • •Commission, program, set up graphics, configure communications links, and perform end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing on assigned projects.
  • •Document point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operations, and complete job close-out requirements.
  • •Serve as the direct customer contact and repair/serve products and equipment at customer locations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • •Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by reviewing building layouts and synchronizing on-site work.
  • •Stay current on Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems, while enforcing safety and maintaining accountability of company assets.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required, typically with at least 7 years of experience in HVAC/controls.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit & run, reckless/careless driving, or license suspension in the previous 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC controls systems is preferred.
  • •Ability to meet physical and safety requirements, including ladder use and use of required PPE and fall protection.
