Key Responsibilities

•Commission, program, set up graphics, configure communications links, and perform end-to-end testing, troubleshooting, and servicing on assigned projects.
•Document point-to-point verification, validate sequences of operations, and complete job close-out requirements.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and repair/serve products and equipment at customer locations to ensure customer satisfaction.
•Coordinate with team leaders and customers to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs by reviewing building layouts and synchronizing on-site work.
•Stay current on Trane product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of direct digital control systems, while enforcing safety and maintaining accountability of company assets.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school is required, typically with at least 7 years of experience in HVAC/controls.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld computers (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations, including DUI, hit & run, reckless/careless driving, or license suspension in the previous 3 years.
•Previous experience with DDC controls systems is preferred.
•Ability to meet physical and safety requirements, including ladder use and use of required PPE and fall protection.
