Key Responsibilities

•Own Zip's consolidated financials including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all business units; manage monthly and quarterly close with variance analysis and produce investor-ready packages
•Lead Zip's cash flow modeling (13-week and long-term), identify risks and opportunities, and build scenario models to stress-test the business under different growth and cost assumptions
•Oversee budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes (AOP, quarterly re-forecasts), and evolve FP&A tools and data infrastructure to be scalable and trusted
•Drive long-range planning (3-5 year financial model) and develop narratives for investors, board members, and potential M&A processes
•Partner with G&A functions (HR/People, Real Estate) on headcount planning, compensation modeling, and occupancy/cost forecasting

Key Requirements

•8+ years of progressive finance experience, with significant time in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related function at a high-growth technology company
•Deep expertise in financial modeling — you can build a three-statement model from scratch and pressure-test assumptions with confidence
•Experience owning or significantly contributing to an annual planning cycle and long-range financial planning process
•Strong understanding of SaaS metrics and what drives revenue, cost, and efficiency in a software business
•Exceptional communicator — you can synthesize complex financial information into clear narratives for executive and board audiences
