Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical electrical engineering support for electrical systems, equipment, and infrastructure across projects and operations.
  • •Manage and liaise with MEP coordinators, main contractor technical teams, consultants, and other stakeholders to execute electrical engineering activities.
  • •Ensure electrical shop drawings and design calculations are prepared, reviewed, approved, and submitted according to design drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • •Review and sign off electrical material technical submittals, method statements, and related documentation to comply with local authorities and project/standard requirements (including HSE).
  • •Support HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in line with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Professionally registered UPDA Engineer (MMUP) with engineer registration and attestation.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant electrical experience (2 years GCC experience is a plus).
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical codes/standards (including NFPA) and local regulations; ability to produce load diagrams/schedules and calculations (e.g., voltage drop).
  • •ERP knowledge with preferred SAP functional skills.
