Job Summary

Lead tax accounting, compliance, and planning for a fast-growing AI marketing platform. Prepare and review the ASC 740 tax provision, support federal/state/local and indirect tax filings, and develop workpapers, technical memos, and forecasting models. Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations to evaluate transaction and initiative tax impacts, and support audits and legislative monitoring. Drive process improvements, automation, and tax technology enhancements to scale the tax function.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare and review the ASC 740 tax provision, including effective tax rate, deferred tax items, and uncertain tax positions.
•Review and support direct and indirect tax compliance activities, including federal, state, local, and sales/use filings.
•Create and review tax supporting documentation and workpapers to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
•Research federal, state, and international tax matters and draft technical tax memoranda.
•Support tax audits and inquiries, including coordination with auditors and taxing authorities, and monitor legislative/regulatory changes.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 165,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•CPA and/or Master’s in Taxation (MST) strongly preferred.
•6+ years of progressive corporate tax experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.
•Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and accounting for income taxes.
•Experience with federal, state, and local tax compliance, including sales/use and other indirect taxes.
