Own the analytical engine for CarMax Auto Finance, leading credit policy, consumer pricing, fraud and decisioning to balance growth with risk-adjusted returns and customer experience. Key Responsibilities

•Set originations strategy across credit policy, consumer pricing, fraud, and decisioning to balance growth, risk-adjusted return, and customer experience.
•Evolve originations capabilities to expand into full-spectrum lending using technology, alternative data and analytics.
•Develop forecast models and own P&L responsibilities to guide the business through a dynamic environment.
•Build and lead a world-class analytical team, including hiring and developing manager-level leaders.
•Influence executive decision-making with data-grounded recommendations and serve as a thought partner to senior leadership.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 148,100 - 237,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
•8–10 years of proven credit policy and/or credit risk management experience across multiple products or functional areas.
•Experience managing analysts and managerial staff in credit policy/risk roles.
•Strong conceptual skills to design and manipulate complex mathematical models and analyze complex data to make recommendations.
•Ability to translate business objectives into analysis tasks and lead a team to execute them systematically.
