Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Registered Nurse with planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • •Monitor the impact of nursing care and maintain communication with the Registered Nurse on patient status.
  • •Use evidence-based healthcare practices and apply Severe Care Domains of DOH.
  • •Advocate for the best interests of the patient and family and provide appropriate family education.
  • •Assist physicians/therapists with procedures while adhering to dress code and confidentiality requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate from a recognized nursing school (minimum 2 years).
  • •1 years minimum clinical experience plus 6 months recent experience with ventilated patients (adult and pediatric requirements specified).
  • •Current valid registration in the country of training and/or country of last employment.
  • •Eligible for DOH licensing.
  • •ACLS (adult patients) and PALS (pediatric patients).
