Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and coordinate assigned projects, establishing schedules and project parameters, generating tasks/estimates/dependencies, and supporting milestone planning using CPM and histogram analysis.
  • •Work with the engineering team to support engineering programming and material selection activities related to projects.
  • •Assist in establishing and maintaining an operations budget by revising estimates based on validated scope and monitoring cost-at-completion through expense management.
  • •Support preparations for sub-contractor RFQs, including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specs, bonding requirements, and billing schedule of values.
  • •Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, owners, and internal team members on scope, budgets, performance, problem resolution, and project close-out.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree throughout the 12-week internship, with completion of at least the sophomore/2nd year before the start date.
  • •Preferred degree in Construction Engineering, Building Management, Construction Management, HVAC, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  • •Demonstrated knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods through coursework, projects, construction-focused groups, or related hands-on exposure.
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with proof of insurance and no major/frequent traffic violations (including specified violations in the prior 3 years).
