Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and prototype PCBs for handheld control stations with high reliability, low latency, and efficient power management.
  • •Integrate components (displays, joysticks, communication modules, antennas, batteries) into a robust, compact design.
  • •Define system-level electrical architecture including wiring, interconnects, and shielding for electromagnetic compatibility.
  • •Collaborate with mechanical and embedded software engineers for seamless hardware stack integration.
  • •Select and manage suppliers, oversee board fabrication/assembly, and conduct extensive thermal, EMI/EMC, and field validation testing with documentation and iteration to production readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • •Proven experience designing embedded systems, ideally for handheld or ruggedized equipment.
  • •Strong PCB design experience with Altium or an equivalent tool, including high-speed digital and analog circuits.
  • •Knowledge of RF integration, EMI shielding, and power systems (batteries, charging, power regulation).
  • •Bonus experience with military or mission-critical communication systems.
