Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and growth of WSP Africa’s Strategic Asset Management service line, including methodologies, tools, frameworks, and governance.
  • •Deliver strategic advisory engagements including SAMPs, asset policies/frameworks, maturity assessments, portfolio optimization, lifecycle planning, and long-term capital investment planning.
  • •Drive business development and work winning: execute the growth strategy, build executive relationships, pursue bids/proposals, and develop thought leadership.
  • •Act as Project Director on major advisory commissions with executive oversight for quality, commercial, schedule, and client satisfaction.
  • •Build and mentor a high-performing advisory team, including recruitment, succession planning, communities of practice, and capability development.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Asset Management, Facilities Management, Built Environment, or a related discipline.
  • •Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience in strategic asset management, infrastructure, or property advisory.
  • •Proven leadership experience delivering strategic asset management advisory services.
  • •Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles and best practices.
  • •Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and win consulting work.
