Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead commercial and contractual activities across programme workstreams, including contract strategy, tendering, and negotiations aligned to client governance.
  • •Oversee cost planning, forecasting, benchmarking, performance reporting, and change control throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • •Direct programme and project controls activities such as maintaining the master programme, capital budgets, and monitoring schedule performance, risk exposure, and earned value.
  • •Provide high-level governance and compliance, ensuring audit-ready records and adherence to client governance frameworks and public procurement requirements.
  • •Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of cost, planning, and project controls specialists, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 15 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure or capital programmes.
  • •Strong commercial leadership in complex, multi-disciplinary environments with experience in contract strategy, procurement, cost management, and commercial governance.
  • •Experience with NEC4 or FIDIC or public sector contract frameworks.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead commercial teams and influence stakeholders at senior level.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or related discipline, plus professional membership (e.g., SCSI, RICS, Engineers Ireland, APM).
