Job Summary

Provide strategic legal advice and support to business units across APAC, with a focus on Industrial Automation. Serve as first point of contact for senior business leadership, advising on commercial matters, product liability, and antitrust issues. Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, manage legal risks and compliance, support preventive training, and help coordinate governance filings, dispute resolution, and external counsel.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as first point of contact in APAC for IA leadership under supervision of the APAC General Counsel, coordinating legal strategy across the region.
•Analyze and advise on legal and compliance matters for commercial issues, product liability, and antitrust.
•Draft, review, negotiate, and manage legal documentation for commercial transactions and help develop templates and precedents.
•Formulate and conduct preventive law training, including contracting best practices and anti-bribery laws, and support workplace compliance issues and internal investigations.
•Develop legal strategies, coordinate corporate governance filings, manage external counsel, and advise on litigation, arbitration, and disputes across APAC countries.

Key Requirements

•Attorney admitted to practice with a degree in law.
•At least 8-12 years of experience as a licensed attorney in a senior legal capacity at a major law firm and multinational company.
•Current admission to practice in Korea required (JD or LLM from an accredited U.S. law school preferred).
•Substantial experience in contract management, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
•Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
