Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to run day-to-day safety and regulatory compliance activities with component suppliers and OEM/ODM manufacturers in Taiwan and China.
  • •Create, scope, schedule, and execute test and global certification plans for multiple international standards and compliance programs.
  • •Develop pre-certification test strategies and review lab/supplier test reports, certificates of compliance, and technical files for accuracy and conformance.
  • •Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) using 8D, including 5-Why and Fishbone methods, to eliminate non-conformances and supplier quality escapes.
  • •Define technical documentation and risk assessment records, monitor evolving regulations, and support manufacturing audit protocols, factory inspections, and supplier change impact reviews.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree strictly required in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a highly related engineering discipline.
  • •3+ years of experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, or quality engineering for consumer electronics, fitness equipment, or electromechanical devices.
  • •Expertise navigating international safety and compliance frameworks (including ASTM, EN, and ISO mechanical standards and global wireless/EMC testing requirements).
  • •Familiarity with consumer product standards (including IEC 60335 series, IEC 62368-1, UL standards, ISO/EN 20957, and battery safety such as IEC 62133/UN 38.3).
  • •Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese to bridge global, cross-cultural teams.
