Key Responsibilities

  • •Build production AI systems including core services for enterprise document understanding, retrieval, knowledge grounding, and RAG.
  • •Own document ingestion, parsing and extraction, chunking and embedding, indexing, retrieval, knowledge management, evaluation, and answer grounding.
  • •Raise quality for enterprise AI by improving retrieval quality, answer quality, groundedness, attribution, latency, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • •Architect highly available, multi-tenant cloud services using distributed, event-driven, and search/vector-database based approaches while maintaining reliability, security, and performance.
  • •Influence technical direction across teams through architecture, implementation, mentoring, and critical design reviews while partnering with Product and Applied AI.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years building large-scale software systems, including significant experience shipping production AI products.
  • •Strong backend engineering experience in Python and/or C#.
  • •Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architectures.
  • •Experience building scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.
  • •Strong understanding of modern retrieval systems (RAG, embeddings, vector search, evaluation, and LLM-powered applications).
