Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop business partner relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders and lead procurement activities focused on supplier performance.
  • •Lead supplier interaction and collaboration with cross-functional teams to manage procurements (e.g., build-to-print, performance specifications, and Supplier Statements of Work).
  • •Support capture/proposal efforts by reviewing requirements flow-down, generating RFI/RFQ/RFP materials, and leading best-value source selection and down-select activities.
  • •Develop negotiation strategy and lead multi-functional negotiation teams, negotiating price, schedule, and terms with suppliers/subcontractors.
  • •Prepare purchase order documentation and execute post-award supplier management activities to meet quality, schedule, and financial program requirements in compliance with FAR/DFARs and company policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience (or an Advance Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience).
  • •DoD procurement experience and knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS), including the ability to place Purchase Orders over the TINA dollar threshold.
  • •U.S. Person eligibility (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
  • •Experience with Federal acquisition requirements and demonstrating knowledge/compliance with FAR/DFARS.
  • •Ability to manage supplier interactions and procurements with medium/high complexity, including build-to-print and performance specifications.
