Job Summary

Build and evolve TikTok’s AI Search infrastructure that powers multi-agent LLM experiences such as Q&A cards, in-app chatbots, and visual search. You’ll deploy and optimize text/multimodal models (including inference acceleration, training alignment, and reinforcement learning), design scalable serving platforms for online and offline scenarios, and develop data architectures and distributed systems for low-latency, high-throughput search.

Key Responsibilities

•Evolve TikTok’s AI Search multi-agent LLM engine using ReAct + tool calling, DAG-based workflows, and RAG paradigms.
•Deploy and optimize text and multimodal LLMs, including inference acceleration, training alignment, and reinforcement learning.
•Build scalable and reliable end-to-end serving platforms for AI Search use cases across online and offline scenarios.
•Design large-scale data architectures for billion-level records and optimize distributed system performance and scheduling.
•Collaborate with modeling and product teams to improve the AI Search experience for TikTok users.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
•At least 5 years of industry experience in recommendation, search, Ads, or ML infrastructure.
•Strong computer science background with proficient coding skills and solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
•Experience with at least one of recommendation systems, search engines, advertising engines, agent/RAG engines, or LLM serving/training.
•Effective communication and teamwork skills with a strong ownership mindset.
