Job Summary

Design and implement Microsoft Threat Protection solutions to strengthen clients’ cybersecurity posture across endpoints, identities, cloud, and collaboration platforms. Work in a consulting capacity with medium to large enterprises to build AV/EDR and phishing/identity defenses, develop detections and correlation use cases, and integrate Microsoft Sentinel into Security Operations. Support threat hunting, L2 incidents, incident response, and Azure-hosted remediation, including Azure Logic Apps and Sentinel automation.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement AV/EDR solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) to detect and respond to cyber threats across operating systems.
•Protect email, messaging, and collaboration platforms from phishing, spear phishing, BEC, and identity-related attacks.
•Develop and maintain cyber defence use cases, correlation rules, and attack chain detections across systems.
•Design, implement, and integrate SIEM solutions—particularly Microsoft Sentinel—into Security Operations; perform threat hunting across endpoints, identities, networking, cloud, and collaboration.
•Handle L2-level incidents using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender tools, and support incident response, triage, threat modelling, and vulnerability remediation; create and troubleshoot Azure Logic Apps and Sentinel automation.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience with Microsoft Sentinel (architecture, deployment, analytics rules, workbooks, playbooks) and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint/Defender for Cloud.
•Experience designing and implementing AV/EDR solutions to detect and respond to cyber threats across major operating systems.
•Hands-on threat hunting and investigation support using KQL, Microsoft Defender XDR, and threat intelligence sources.
•Experience supporting SIEM/SOC operations and integrating SIEM solutions—particularly Microsoft Sentinel—into Security Operations.
•Understanding of agile methodologies and backlog management; experience with incident response, triage, threat modelling, and vulnerability remediation in Azure environments.
