Job Summary

Develop and deploy high-complexity systems as part of Applied Signal Technology’s R&D mission to strengthen national security through SIGINT solutions. Work closely with engineering teams to design, develop, and test custom hardware and software, document results, and resolve discrepancies across the system lifecycle. Generate and deliver technical briefings to customers and leadership. Onsite in San Jose, with occasional weekend/night support and up to 25% travel.

•Collaborate with R&D teams on system development and deployments for national protection missions.

•Support systems integration, test execution, and documentation throughout the system lifecycle.
•Travel up to 25% and work weekends and nights periodically for integration and testing support.

Key Requirements

•Degree in STEM and a minimum of 8 years of relevant prior experience.
•Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance required prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
•Minimum 8 years of hands-on systems engineering experience designing, developing, and testing custom hardware and software systems of high complexity.
•Experience with systems integration, test execution, and test results documentation.
•Hands-on experience with Linux and ability to troubleshoot/debug problems.
