Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform physical and visual inspections to verify product specification, quality, and food safety procedure compliance.
  • •Complete product reviews for grading, packaging, and weight compliance, and take appropriate action when non-compliance is observed.
  • •Monitor team members’ work practices and address deficiencies by reporting nonconformance to the supervisor.
  • •Monitor product processing areas and equipment practices to mitigate potential foreign material contamination.
  • •Inspect equipment for cleanliness and proper working condition, record findings, and collect and track numerical data.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent.
  • •Able to perform inspections and move, open, and inspect plant-produced products.
  • •Able to stand on concrete surfaces up to four (4) continuous hours with a minimum of 8 hours per shift and physically navigate the facility safely.
  • •Basic computer skills and/or willingness to learn company software to complete job assignments.
  • •Ability to understand and follow instructions for poultry processing methods and practices, including meeting food safety and quality expectations.
