Technical authority for design, development, and lifecycle support of hydraulic systems for UAVs. Leads system architecture, design authorities for hydraulic circuits, and integration with mechanical, avionics, and control subsystems; ensures regulatory compliance, testing, and certification while driving platform strategy, innovation, and cross-functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the conceptualization and definition of hydraulic system architectures for flight control, landing gear, weapon release, and other aerospace applications.
•Serve as the design authority for hydraulic circuits, including power packs, actuators, accumulators, reservoirs, filters, and fluid lines.
•Ensure alignment of hydraulic system design with platform-level requirements, redundancy strategies, and environmental constraints.
•Develop and validate system requirements, specifications, and performance parameters (flow rates, pressures, responsiveness, efficiency).
•Define validation strategies and lead the execution of functional tests, leak tests, endurance testing, and environmental qualification (temperature, vibration, contamination).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Fluid Power Systems Engineering (REQUIRED)
•Minimum 10 years of experience in hydraulic systems design and integration in aerospace/defense
•Experience with UAVs or aircraft hydraulic systems for flight control or ground systems
•Proficiency with CAD and simulation tools (CATIA, NX, SolidWorks, MATLAB/Simulink, Amesim)
•Knowledge of aerospace standards and certification processes (MIL-PRF-5606, MIL-STD-810, DO-160, AS9100)
