Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead mechanical design, analysis, and development of wireline tools and mechanical systems from concept through commercialization.
  • •Execute complex engineering activities using engineering principles, standards, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • •Perform detailed mechanical analysis including stress, fatigue, vibration, tolerance stack-up, reliability, and finite element analysis (FEA).
  • •Develop and review engineering drawings, 3D models, specifications, calculations, bills of material, and technical documentation.
  • •Plan and execute design verification and qualification testing, write test procedures, analyze results, and prepare technical reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred) from an accredited university or college.
  • •Proven experience in downhole tool design and development for wireline, completions, drilling, intervention, or other downhole technology environments.
  • •Expertise in mechanical design, materials selection, manufacturing processes, and product qualification.
  • •Strong proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or NX.
  • •Experience with engineering analysis tools such as ANSYS (or equivalent FEA software) and structured root-cause analysis.
