Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and company assets to support continuous production while following safety procedures and Tyson policies. Perform work involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, general mechanics, and some welding, including setting up and adjusting production line machinery. Complete required daily documentation and training, communicate to resolve mechanical failures, and meet physical demands including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
•Keep machinery running to support continuous production by repairing and maintaining operating conditions and troubleshooting day-to-day facility problems.
•Perform mechanical work involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, general mechanics, and some welding.
•Set up, adjust, and break down production line machinery and complete required daily documentation.
•Complete required job training and perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

•Minimum of 1 year of documented mechanic work experience or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program; a combination of experience and education may qualify.
•Ability to become HAZMAT certified.
•Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, and be available for overtime.
•Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management and read manuals to repair equipment safely.
•Willingness and ability to meet the physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.
