Job Summary

Develop and enhance analytics solutions for wholesale power, retail energy, risk management, and supply optimization. Build forecasting and market intelligence models for ERCOT and PJM, and support trading and risk teams with scenario analysis, exposure reporting, pricing support, and market research. Key Responsibilities

•Develop and enhance analytical solutions for wholesale power, retail energy, risk management, and supply optimization.
•Build and improve load, price growth margin forecasting, and market intelligence models for ERCOT and PJM.
•Support trading, risk, supply management, and marketing with scenario analysis, position evaluation, exposure reporting, and pricing support.
•Design and build scalable data pipelines, datasets, and analytics tools using SQL and Python.
•Create dashboards and communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or another quantitative hard science.
•5+ years applying modeling techniques in business applications.
•Strong understanding of ERCOT fundamentals; familiarity with PJM markets preferred.
•Hands-on experience with load and price forecasting, market analytics, risk management, and supply portfolio optimization in retail and/or wholesale power.
•Strong technical skills in Python and SQL, plus visualization tools such as Plotly and PowerBI.
