Job Summary

Handle hedge fund accounting and trade settlement for assigned pooled vehicles, ensuring accurate daily reconciliations between systems and custodians. Investigate discrepancies, complete cash/portfolio/capital reconciliations, and prepare monthly reporting packages including NAV, profit and loss, and statement of assets and liabilities. Accrue fund income/expenses, process capital activities (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers), manage cash flow, and support investor and client reporting with timely, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform daily reconciliation of accounts between Geneva and custodian/prime broker.
•Investigate reconciliation discrepancies and independently complete cash, portfolio, and capital reconciliations.
•Prepare monthly financial reporting packages for hedge funds, including NAV determination, asset/liability statements, and profit and loss statements.
•Accrue fund income and expenses (management and performance fees), including incentive and management fee calculations.
•Process capital activities (subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, rollups, capital commitments/calls) and manage daily cash flow for trades and fund cash flows.

Key Requirements

•University degree (or equivalent) with 3+ years of formal studies in finance/accounting principles.
•1+ year of accounting experience for financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives) and capital markets trade lifecycle.
•Procedural knowledge of fund accounting, including trade booking, cash reporting, exception analysis, and asset/cash reconciliation.
•1+ year of data entry experience with strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
•1+ year of experience using MS-Excel (formulas, tables/formatting, conditional formatting, charting, pivot tables).
