Key Responsibilities

  • •Support day-to-day operations in the production environment and help identify, select, prioritize, and implement process improvement projects.
  • •Provide engineering, maintenance, equipment, and daily process assistance to Coating and Slitting operations.
  • •Continuously improve and optimize products through variation reduction.
  • •Investigate manufacturing problems with production teams, analyze supporting data, recommend improvements, and follow through to evaluate efficiency.
  • •Lead capital projects for equipment installations, modifications, or upgrades, and support new product development and product design.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline (mechanical, chemical, biomedical, or electrical).
  • •Minimum 2–4 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • •Experience with variation reduction using statistical analysis, statistical process controls (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Mean Squared Error (MSE).
  • •Ability to resolve common and special cause issues using methods to develop, implement, monitor, measure, and control improvement plans.
  • •Lean Six Sigma and ISO 9001-2000 exposure; Green Belt certification is a plus; Solidworks, AutoCAD, controls, instrumentation, and PLC knowledge preferred.
