Job Summary

Own the form, fit, and function of HP printheads and provide engineering resolutions to product and manufacturing issues. Implement a strong Product Quality System across the value chain, driving product qualification and change management processes. Identify risks early, define test methods, and characterize products throughout programs. Partner with R&D, Product Development, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Tech Support, and Production to improve manufacturing line productivity, yield, and quality, and deliver cost-reduction solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide engineering resolutions and implement solutions to product and manufacturing issues.
•Engage R&D and Product Development to enable new product introductions and extensions.
•Identify program risks early and determine test methods to characterize the product for end-customer needs.
•Drive product qualification processes and implement a strong product quality system across the value chain.
•Own printhead form, fit, and function, drive change management, and work across value-chain teams to improve productivity, yield, and quality.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Material Engineering.
•Typically 2-4 years of work experience.
•Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, methodologies, and environment, preferably in high-volume electronics product manufacturing.
•Good understanding of quality assurance and process control knowledge.
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, leadership, organization, and project management skills.
