Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform mechanical engineering activities from initial customer requirements through design specifications, design verification, and conversion into manufacturing and operating specifications.
  • •Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to people, plant, and the environment; ensure lessons learned are communicated and reflected in design activities.
  • •Define engineering deliverables by interpreting customer and regulatory requirements and assessing factors affecting engineering outcomes.
  • •Establish planning, scheduling, and prioritization for assigned engineering duties and ensure execution to standards, schedule, and budget.
  • •Coordinate and control engineering activities through planning, compliance, cost communication, health/safety/environment risk control, quality and quality plan maintenance, and final handover and close-out.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Design Engineering with engineering experience in an Oil and Gas, Energy, Industrial, or renewable environment.
  • •Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • •Ability to communicate and present technical information clearly and concisely in English.
  • •Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing ANSI Y14.5M (GD&T) and experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
  • •Proficiency with MS Office and mechanical design tools (MathCad, AutoCAD, CreO/ProE/3D) and TeamCenter; knowledge of applicable codes/standards (e.g., API, ASME).
