Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare materials, parts, and equipment for movement by blocking, bracing, cushioning, and stabilizing items to operational and safety standards.
  • •Inspect items and select appropriate securing methods based on size, weight, fragility, and mode of transport.
  • •Select, measure, and cut securing materials such as wood, metal bracing, foam, straps, and pallets.
  • •Assemble and install blocking and bracing structures safely and accurately using tools and equipment.
  • •Maintain compliance by documenting work, performing equipment checks, and escalating hazards; assist with loading and unloading to keep items stable and protected.
