Job Summary

Build and mature infrastructure for Unity’s AI authoring products, ensuring high reliability, scalability, performance, and maintainability. Partner with product and engineering teams to shape technical strategy, define cross-team deployment standards, and manage releases with client-server compatibility. Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, Helm, Terraform Cloud, observability, and disaster recovery across Azure and Google Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to influence the product roadmap and align on technical strategy.
•Design and implement scalable solutions for Unity AI products, including AI agent technologies extending the Unity Editor.
•Improve reliability, performance, observability, security, and cost-efficiency of backend systems; investigate performance regressions and network latency.
•Run technical spikes to address application infrastructure needs on Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
•Build infrastructure and processes for promoting code from development to production using infrastructure-as-code, Helm deployments, and Terraform Cloud best practices.

Salary: USD 210,300 - 273,400 annually

•Proven observability skills, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and debugging tools such as Grafana.
