Job Summary

Build and run the product operating system that helps the product organization plan, decide, and ship with clarity, speed, and accountability. Own product planning cadences, governance, operating metrics, source-of-truth workflows, and release management to keep product information accurate and usable. Partner across Product, Design, Engineering, and customer-facing teams to set standards, improve cross-functional engagement, and route customer/field signals into prioritization decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the product operating model, including planning cadences, quarterly/annual planning processes, portfolio governance, leadership review forums, decision logs, and accountability mechanisms.
•Build and run release management systems, templates, intake mechanisms, and source-of-truth workflows that keep product information accurate before, during, and after launches.
•Establish standards for capturing, reviewing, and distributing product truth internally with PM partners to reduce ambiguity and operational friction.
•Define and track operating metrics for product organization health (planning quality, roadmap predictability, decision velocity, launch readiness, execution follow-through).
•Define and evolve engagement models and mechanisms to coordinate cross-functional launch readiness and route customer/field signals into product planning and tradeoff discussions.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 200,000 - 250,000

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in product operations, product management, strategy and operations, or a related discipline, with experience building operating systems in a complex product organization.
•Deep expertise in planning systems, governance design, operating cadences, operating metrics, and cross-functional coordination.
•Strong judgment on where product decisions belong versus where operational systems and governance should sit.
•Analytical and executive communication skills to turn ambiguity and fragmented inputs into clear recommendations, operating mechanisms, and dashboards.
•Experience modernizing workflows, tooling, and team practices in fast-paced, AI-enabled product environments.
