Lead Fortinet’s Finance Deals Desk to operationalize a unified, data-driven commercial framework that helps Sales close complex, high-value deals faster. Serve as a senior financial advisor for non-standard transactions, drive risk-based deal triage and approvals, and maintain scalable, audit-ready governance. Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, Revenue Recognition, and Order Management to refine decision matrices, monitor KPIs, and ensure consistency across the global order-to-cash cycle.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as primary financial advisor to Sales leaders on large, complex, and non-standard transactions, guiding deal structuring to maximize profitability and ensure compliance.
•Lead the deal review process using the unified commercial framework to assess margins, discounting, and renewals for economic risk.
•Serve as key escalation point for complex, high-risk deals, preparing business justifications and risk assessments for executive review.
•Operationalize rapid deal triage and threshold-based routing rules to streamline approvals and improve deal velocity.
•Partner with internal teams to refine decision matrices, maintain lean scalable processes, and establish KPIs for approval consistency and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

•7-12+ years in a deal desk, sales finance, or revenue operations role in a global technology or cybersecurity company, operating at senior-level individual contributor scope.
•Extensive experience executing structured, rules-based commercial frameworks and balancing margins, discounts, and commercial terms.
•Deep knowledge of standard and non-standard hardware/software selling models (including SaaS, subscription, term, perpetual, consumption, and on-demand).
•Strong financial acumen in software revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and the impact of non-standard contract terms.
•Strong technical proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
