Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as primary financial advisor to Sales leaders on large, complex, and non-standard transactions, guiding deal structuring to maximize profitability and ensure compliance.
  • •Lead the deal review process using the unified commercial framework to assess margins, discounting, and renewals for economic risk.
  • •Serve as key escalation point for complex, high-risk deals, preparing business justifications and risk assessments for executive review.
  • •Operationalize rapid deal triage and threshold-based routing rules to streamline approvals and improve deal velocity.
  • •Partner with internal teams to refine decision matrices, maintain lean scalable processes, and establish KPIs for approval consistency and risk mitigation.

Key Requirements

  • •7-12+ years in a deal desk, sales finance, or revenue operations role in a global technology or cybersecurity company, operating at senior-level individual contributor scope.
  • •Extensive experience executing structured, rules-based commercial frameworks and balancing margins, discounts, and commercial terms.
  • •Deep knowledge of standard and non-standard hardware/software selling models (including SaaS, subscription, term, perpetual, consumption, and on-demand).
  • •Strong financial acumen in software revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and the impact of non-standard contract terms.
  • •Strong technical proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
