Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete production activities in the press room, operating automatic presses, cranes, lift trucks, and auxiliary equipment.
  • •Set up blanking, progressive, and transfer dies for changeovers, including feeding/handling equipment operations.
  • •Perform visual inspection of in-process and finished parts and use appropriate tools/fixtures to check parts.
  • •Ensure safe operation of presses and lift trucks and comply with SBD Willard safety policies.
  • •Perform departmental tasks assigned by the Stamping Supervisor or Group Leader and maintain a clean, organized, safe work environment.
