Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead Windchill PLM customization, configuration, and integration projects aligned with enterprise engineering objectives.
  • •Develop Windchill workflows, UI customizations, info structures, and access control policies.
  • •Design and implement Java-based Windchill customizations including utilities, services, adapters, and business logic extensions.
  • •Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems such as ERP, CAD, MES, and document management tools.
  • •Provide technical mentorship, conduct code reviews, and support upgrades, patches, and data migration initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on PTC Windchill PLM experience (10.x/11.x/12.x).
  • •Strong development skills in Java, JSP, XML, JavaScript, and RESTful services for PLM customization.
  • •Expertise with Windchill Data Model, Type Manager, Workflow Engine, and Access Control Rules (ACLs).
  • •Experience customizing PDMLink, ProjectLink, Change Management, and Parts/Document modules.
  • •Familiarity with Windchill extension frameworks and server-side integration and deployment basics (e.g., WTServices/Info*Engine, scripts, and build/deployment tools).
