Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as the primary relationship manager for a portfolio of mass affluent clients, selling and delivering fee income and retail banking products and services and providing ongoing service.
  • •Assess client financial needs and conditions using sound profiling and personal financial planning analysis, working with advisors on investment accounts for adherence to objectives and policies.
  • •Stay current on economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends affecting clients, and act as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients and professional partners (e.g., attorneys, CPAs).
  • •Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals by developing new clients, expanding services, marketing products, and using sales processes and contact management systems to manage pipelines and activity.
  • •Ensure compliance by working within audit, compliance, and regulatory frameworks, and coordinate with internal product/service specialists to provide an integrated client experience.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree with a concentration in business, accounting, finance, banking, or equivalent financial services experience and training.
  • •Minimum five years of financial services experience working with clients in banking, investments, and/or retail lending, or one year in a financial client relationship manager role.
  • •Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning/advisory and investment management/asset allocation concepts, plus understanding of retail credit and retail banking products for the mass affluent market.
  • •Maintain or obtain within 100–150 days: active SIE, FINRA Series 7, 66 (or 63/65 in lieu), and applicable Insurance licenses (Life, Health, Variable); be SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days (including new/transfer registration) and complete required NMLS background check.
  • •Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills and basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
