Job Summary

Serve as a Retail Personal Banker II, building customer relationships and developing new household and small-business customers through consultative sales. Promote and retain deposits, loans, and fee-based services using tools like Financial Needs Assessment and approved marketing outreach. Meet production and customer experience goals, coordinate referrals with partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment), and help CSRs through the sales/referral process while following policies and risk practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
•Cross-sell and conduct outside sales activities, including community and business financial literacy events, as directed.
•Establish working relationships with assigned business partners and refer customers for timely, holistic solutions.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank through appearance and verbal/written communication.
