Key Responsibilities

  • •Promote deposits, loans, and fee-based services while building relationships to grow revenue and retain customers.
  • •Use consultative sales tools and Financial Needs Assessment to develop thorough customer profiles and identify needs.
  • •Proactively reach out to customers using CAMP and approved marketing tools to set appointments for financial reviews.
  • •Support cross-selling through outside activities such as Membership Advantage onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events as directed.
  • •Provide guidance on the sales and referral process, answer customer questions, resolve issues, and uphold risk, ethics, and confidentiality policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Complete the 9-week onboarding and education program and earn certification to perform within the Retail Personal Banker job family.
  • •Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
  • •Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
  • •Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
  • •Obtain S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at time of employment (MU4R registration required).
