Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and own the clinical pharmacology and pharmacometric capability, setting standards and driving data-informed decisions.
  • •Serve as the Clinical Pharmacology lead for multiple concurrent programmes, overseeing clinical pharmacology input into study design across development phases.
  • •Lead non-clinical to clinical PK/PD modeling and simulation (including DDI risk assessment, PBPK, population PK/PD, and QSP) to support dose/regimen selection and quantitative decision criteria.
  • •Manage external collaborations and CRO partnerships to ensure timely delivery against timelines, budgets, and project goals.
  • •Author regulatory document sections (e.g., Investigator’s Brochures, INDs, and NDA/BLA/MAA submissions) as the clinical pharmacology expert and integrate AI-enabled approaches into workflows.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD, PharmD, or MD specializing in DMPK, Pharmacometrics, in vivo/Clinical Pharmacology, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent industry experience in a lead quantitative clinical pharmacology role.
  • •Significant pharmaceutical/biotech experience in Quantitative Clinical Pharmacology across development stages, with a strong understanding of drug discovery, non-clinical and clinical development, and proven Model-Informed Drug Development (MIDD) application.
  • •Proficiency in advanced quantitative modeling and pharmacometric software (e.g., NONMEM, R, Monolix, WinNonlin, GastroPlus, SimCyp), plus data analytics and emerging AI-enabled approaches.
  • •Strong foundation in in vivo Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology principles, including the ability to integrate nonclinical, translational, and clinical data and understand the regulatory landscape.
  • •Demonstrated excellence in communication—translating complex quantitative data into actionable strategic messages for cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
