Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI.
  • •Build and integrate APIs that expose statistical models, analytical services, and machine learning solutions to front end and external systems.
  • •Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to operationalize computational and statistical models in production.
  • •Integrate backend services with Azure cloud components including Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks Delta Lake, and Azure DevOps.
  • •Implement secure authentication/authorization, optimize performance for high-volume workloads, and deliver automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong backend application development experience with Python and FastAPI.
  • •Experience designing REST APIs and building secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • •Familiarity with Pydantic models, async programming, and modular, maintainable code practices.
  • •Hands-on experience integrating with Azure cloud components such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure DevOps, and Databricks Delta Lake.
  • •Experience developing automated tests (e.g., pytest) and CI/CD pipelines for deployment and release automation.
