Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify potential jobs and customers, build relationships, and close bid work.
  • •Work with the general line sales team to close jobs and facilitate leads through general contractors, end users, and institutions.
  • •Review specifications, prepare submittals and shop drawings for owner/architect approval, and conduct site visits as needed.
  • •Prepare specialty product proposals using take-offs and cost estimation; develop conceptual estimates, value engineering reports, and feasibility/budget estimates.
  • •Manage closed project work from order through installation as a liaison between vendors, purchasers, salesmen, and contractors; investigate damages and coordinate schedule recovery with insurance and vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with 18 months of experience in project management or estimating.
  • •18 months of experience in building and construction industry and business practices.
  • •18 months of experience working with drawings, specifications, and blueprint plans.
  • •18 months of experience with CAD and Revit (Computer Aided Design software).
  • •Experience with take-off, estimating, and bidding platforms including Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Dodge Data, ISqft, and Construct Connect.
