Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze baseline factory metrics (scrap, rework, FPY), identify top drivers, and forecast future demand to find improvement opportunities.
  • •Drive manufacturing quality through hardware inspection and cross-functional efforts to implement root-cause corrective actions.
  • •Conduct process walks and operator observations to lead discussions and implement process enhancements that reduce variation.
  • •Lead manufacturing defect prevention activities to align on priorities and execute containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
  • •Lead APQP initiatives (PFMEA, control plans, SPC) and verify/validate improvements and efficiencies; coordinate supplier escapes/containment with Supplier Quality Management.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM or other technical field, plus a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • •Experience identifying root cause and initiating/implementing short-term and long-term corrective actions in a cross-functional process improvement environment.
  • •Experience developing and using quality metrics to drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective action, including perceptive verifications.
  • •Experience in manufacturing processes using industry technical standards, including interpreting drawings and work instructions.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
