Job Summary

Build customer relationships and proactively identify financial needs using a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessments. Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products to recommend appropriate solutions, cross-sell to existing customers, and support outside sales activities. Partner with business teams (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) through referrals, meet production goals, process teller transactions, and uphold risk, ethics, and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in operations and Sales & Service, followed by certification to perform within the Retail Personal Banker job family.
•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend retail consumer and small business products using the bank’s value proposition and utilize CAMP/approved marketing tools to reach out and set appointments.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Process teller transactions and provide guidance/referrals with assigned Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment).

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new consumer and small business customers and/or cross-sell to established customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Must complete S.A.F.E. Act registration at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
