Key Responsibilities

  • •Build features and components for production services powering the Elastic Cloud Platform.
  • •Take ownership of well-scoped pieces of larger projects, from requirements through production.
  • •Propose technical solutions and bring them through to working code, including through pair work on harder problems.
  • •Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and help operate owned services via on-call rotation.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience writing services in Go, or strong proficiency in another systems language with motivation to ramp up on Go.

  • •Curiosity about distributed systems and how services communicate at scale.
  • •Strong communication and quality focus, including testing, observability, and operability.
