Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and maintain a graph data model for entities, records, and typed relationships, including probabilistic record matching and deduplication with provenance for traceability.
  • •Develop relevance and priority models, own score calibration and thresholds, and implement an abstention policy for uncertain or high-risk cases.
  • •Implement retrieval and generation using embeddings, vector storage, and retrieval across a provenance-tracked evidence base, integrating language models via approved managed services.
  • •Build secure ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing pipelines across multiple data types with quality checks, lineage capture, and audit logging.
  • •Work within gated release and engineering standards: document assumptions/limitations, instrument telemetry, and maintain audit trails for recommendations, overrides, and model versions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, applied machine learning, ML engineering, or production analytics engineering.
  • •Strong Python and SQL with experience working with large, imperfect operational data.
  • •Experience delivering systems for sustained operational use (not only exploratory analysis).
  • •Routine use of AI-assisted development with judgment about when output needs verification.
  • •Ability to explain technical decisions to stakeholders who must defend them without knowing internal details.
