Key Responsibilities

•Deliver Music lessons that inspire students to succeed, helping achieve the best possible outcomes.
•Plan, prepare, and present engaging curriculum-aligned sessions; organize classroom learning resources and create displays.
•Assess and track student development, using Target Tracker and data to inform planning and intervention; provide feedback to parents at conferences and meetings.
•Manage classes effectively and follow the school’s behaviour policy, acting decisively and serving as a positive role model.
•Collaborate with colleagues and support staff, communicate with parents/carers, contribute to school events, and run a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in the related subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification.
•Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience.
•Previous experience teaching students for whom English is not their first language.
•Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child with high professionalism and child wellbeing focus.
•Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities, plus a clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
