Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide partners with technical enablement to evaluate and adopt Databricks, including hands-on Apache Spark programming and cloud ecosystem integration.
  • •Build technical champions within top C&SI partners and serve as a trusted advisor on Databricks technical matters.
  • •Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to engage with the partner technical community.
  • •Apply big data analytics expertise to architecture and design for partner and customer outcomes.
  • •Create technical solutions and blog posts to demonstrate expertise.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of pre-sales or post-sales experience working with external clients or partners across multiple industry markets.
  • •Customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience with a core strength in data engineering or data science.
  • •Experience presenting and whiteboarding technical concepts for customers and partners.
  • •Experience designing and implementing architectures in public clouds (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • •Coding experience in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java; plus expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, or data science/ML technologies.
  • •Experience with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent through work experience.
  • •Full professional proficiency in Japanese is mandatory; business-level English is preferred.
