Job Summary

Machine Operator role responsible for operating and maintaining CNC equipment in a safe, efficient manner to meet quality and production standards. Executes multi-head Plasma/Oxy-Fuel ESAB Burn Table, Bevel Table, Bystronic Laser Table, Break Press Table, and drives as a Material Handler. Works with fabrication, assembly, material handling, machine shop, planning and engineering to maximize material usage and ensure timely, accurate production.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate and maintain CNC equipment in a safe, efficient manner to achieve quality and production standards.
•Review job orders and bring in required material from the warehouse.
•Fabricate parts to blueprint specifications using appropriate machines and processes.
•Operate general fabrication equipment and crane to move materials as needed.
•Liaise with fabrication, assembly, material handlers, machine shop, planning and engineering departments to ensure smooth production.

Key Requirements

•High School diploma or GED required.
•3 to 5 years’ in Heavy Equipment/ Manufacturing environment
•Experience with CNC machines 2 years’ experience preferred
•Experienced in driving forklift and overhead crane required
•Basic computer skills required, and good organizational, prioritizing & problem-solving skills.
