Job Summary

Support the planning, design, and delivery of mechanical building systems for commercial, healthcare, higher education, life sciences, and other project types. Assist with HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and temperature control system analysis, prepare engineering calculations and construction documents, and develop/revise drawings using Revit and AutoCAD. Coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, participate in site investigations, and help support construction administration tasks such as submittal reviews and RFIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist with the design and analysis of mechanical building systems, including HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, and temperature control systems.
•Support engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents.
•Develop and revise design drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and other design platforms.
•Participate in field investigations, site visits, and existing conditions assessments.
•Assist with construction administration, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and conducting site observations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or closely related discipline.
•1 to 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or building systems design.
•Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
•Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and building systems design principles.
•Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office applications.
